Chinese New Year Eve 2014*

Hello fellow friends once again! Chinese New Year (CNY) has come again once more. Firstly some bad news, I still have half day of lesson on this special day of the year. WTS?! But good news is I didn't even pay attention in class. HAHA! And the flight issue for our overseas immersion program to UK is finally settled and we can go ahead to book our flights! Such a relieve*

This proves that everyone is in Holiday mood*

Se7en Up once again! Can't imagine my life without them. ;)

Great lunch with my UOM peeps at Ma Maison

Set Lunch B

The soup was not fantastic as I'm not a fan of corn soup. But the sauce of the salad compliments the whole appetiser, which makes it delicious. So it made up for disappointment in the soup.

This is my first attempt on Ma Maison's Beef Steak and I'm impressed. The meat was cooked to the degree I requested. The spaghetti, potato salad and baby carrots placed an important role as well to bring the dish to a different dimension. One small tip to provide, try to eat small portions of the steak in combination with all the side dishes. You will be surprised by the blend of each flavour in your taste buds.

Overall with the set lunches priced at 15 to 20 dollars after GST and Service Charge included, I would recommend it as the restaurant has an unique embience and great Japanese/Western Fusion cuisine to offer. Just something to note, the main courses are slightly on the pricy side so do consider how much your pocket can offer yup? ;).

What is CNY without some alcohol? XD. Have a great CNY for those who are celebrating and for those who don't, have a great break and holiday! HAPPY NEW YEAR and HUAT ARH!*

A day filled with Ups and Downs

It's the 2nd day of the new term. School resumes and all back to square one once again. But after the knocks and obstacles we overcame during the first Semester, everyone seems to be in the "zone", developed a critical thinking mindset and be able to generate thoughts and answers faster than before. We are definitely moving towards the right direction so KEEP IT UP PEEPS! =D.

Went for dinner with my classmates at Orchard Yong Tau Foo

This is one of the best Yong Tau Foo I've ever tried. The sauce and chilli were made from their own recipe and the blend of sweetness and spiciness is just right. The highlight of this bowl of noodles is the soup which was boiled for several hours using yellow beans as the base. So it turned out to be savoury and it leaves a bitter-sweetness on your tastebuds after every mouthful. The most scariest part is it will leave you wanting another bowl of it and good news is, the soup is Refillable! Those who have not tried this and is a fan of soup based delicacy or Yong Tau Foo, this is definitely a place to leave your footprints on. ;).

The addresses are provided as follows:

Orchard Yong Tau Fu (Franchised)
Far East Plaza
#05-119
Singapore 228213

#01-09, Cuppage Plaza, 5 Koek Road

Received this pair of green slippers (For your information green is my FAV COLOUR) from a cute group mate of mine. Thank you for the wonderful art made on the slippers. I will definitely wear it when we are over in Manchester. ^^

To end off the day, "Sometimes some people are just not worth your time and effort. So reinvest it in people who are worth it."

A warm welcome to my blog and a big HI to the world! Due to encouragement made by my awesome friends, I've decided to start blogging and share my humble thoughts about Fashion, Food and Life with the world. So to start off here's some footages of the wonderful BBQ gathering with my classmates from SIT(UOM) at East Coast Park yesterday.

A Smile speaks a thousand words*

Lastly GREAT THANKS to the Handsome, Pretty, Wonderful, Awesome, Dedicated members of Student Management Council (SMC) - Batch 2015 for organising this much needed gathering for us. Thank you for always helping us to settle school matters and post questions to the lecturers on our behalf. It's not easy to represent and stand up for the rights of 90+ students but all of you have been doing a great job! Words are never enough to express our thanks and gratitude to you special individuals. Love my classmates to bits* =D
So that summed up a great day spent yesterday~ Stay tuned to more posts in the future. Peace out*
